I wanted to do a post on explaining some of the acronyms used throughout FRC/kinstretch so here goes:
ROM: Range Of Motion
CARs: Controlled articular rotations , taking a joint through its full ROM
PAILS: progressive angular isometric loading , PAILS is used to expand range of motion and override your nervous system
RAILs: regressive angular isometric loading , RAILS is used after PAILS to pull us into the new ROM think with pails we open the door and with rails we step in.
IR : internal rotation
ER: external rotation
PRH: passive range hold
